Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Ensures completion of product qualification test plans, including functional, reliability, and durability testing.</li> <li>Conducts production reliability tests and methodologies to anticipate failures.</li> <li>Evaluates product performance, history, and failure trends to determine sources of poor component performance. </li> <li>Determines reliability requirements of components and systems to achieve company, customer, and any governmental agency reliability objectives.</li> <li>Conducts reliability analysis and works with the design teams to ensure the products designed can meet reliability specifications.</li> <li>Collaborates with the engineering team and seek opportunities to develop new/improve existing durability test methodology to enhance product development efficiency</li> <li>Supports root cause analysis and resolution of issues found during testing and on returned products from the field.</li> <li>Advises and confers with engineers in design review meetings to give reliability findings and design recommendations.</li> <li> Reviews code and engineering standards </li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> Education and Experience Requirements: Degree(s): ABET Accredited Engineering Degree • Four-year ABET accredited degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree in Applied Sciences. • 2-4 years in the HVAC industry or equivalent experience in a similar industry.
