<h2>Posting Details</h2>    Position Information      Position Title Cyber Practitioner   Job Description  The Cyber Practitioner is a non-faculty position fully supported by the Oklahoma Cyber Innovation Institute. The Cyber Practitioner will leverage priority research, development, and educational priorities for OCII to engage with industry and start-up incubators and accelerators to determine immediate problem areas for new curriculum, research and technology development problem solving, experimentation, intellectual property transfer, and start-up opportunities. <br><br><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):</strong>  <ul> <li>Provides support for the cyber activities and demands of OCII.</li> <li>Builds partnerships with other academic institutions to advance cyber activities.</li> <li>Leverage best practices, lessons learned, and proven processes of government agencies – like DoD, NSA, NSF, DoE, and DHS – to bolster and build TU cyber activities.</li> <li>Advises, as a cyber expert, on educational programming activities and events, hands-on experiential classes, mobile classes, and camps.</li> <li>Works with TU faculty to lend expertise for TU and OCII support functions such as cyber range, professional services, scaled power and pipeline systems, networks, autonomous vehicles, and additive manufacturing.</li> <li>Reviews, comments, and advises on cyber technical documents.</li> <li>Evaluates and prepares for future cyber funding opportunities, such as grants and donations.</li> <li>Liaises with TU Cyber Faculty, TU Cyber Fellows, and other cyber practitioners to maintain and build OCII’s expertise and reputation.</li> <li>Collaborates with other innovation agents to identify cyber opportunities and rapidly pursue those opportunities that align with TU and OCII goals and vision.</li> <li>Performs related responsibilities as assigned.</li> </ul>    Required Qualifications   <strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</strong>: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree; 3-5 years experience or an equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education in an academic unit or similar environment</li> <li>Excellent oral, written, organizational and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Ability to multi-task, work independently with initiative, discretion, and confidentiality</li> <li>Successfully work with a variety of administrative levels and diverse groups of people internally and externally to the institution</li> <li>Proficiency with standard office work applications</li> </ul>    Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree. <h2>Posting Details</h2>    Position Information      Position Title OCII Cyber Range Director   Job Description  The Oklahoma Cyber Innovation Institute (OCII) at the University of Tulsa is dedicated to advancing cyber research, technology development, and deployment. Its mission is to cultivate Oklahoma’s technology and cyber ecosystem through research, innovation, education, and engagement with industry, workforce, government, and academic partners. The Cyber Range Director is a non-faculty, staff position fully supported by OCII who will lead the development and management of OCII’s cyber range, a state-of-the-art facility designed for testing and training in cybersecurity. This role involves overseeing the technical and operational aspects of the cyber range, coordinating with researchers, industry partners, and government agencies, and ensuring the facility meets the highest standards of performance and security. <br><br><strong>Responsibilities:</strong>  <ul> <li>Develop and implement strategic plans for the cyber range.</li> <li>Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, maintenance, and security.</li> <li>Collaborate with researchers, industry partners, and government agencies to support cybersecurity projects and initiatives.</li> <li>Oversee the design and execution of cybersecurity training programs and exercises, including on-campus, mobile lab usage, and on-premise of industry partners.</li> <li>Ensure the cyber range remains at the forefront of technological advancements and industry standards.</li> <li>Lead a team of technical staff and provide guidance and support for their professional development.</li> <li>Pursue continuous improvement using feedback and performance data to improve the user experience.</li> <li>Partner with OCII educators to establish and improve curriculum.</li> </ul>    Required Qualifications  <strong>Required Responsibilities:</strong> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.</li> <li>Experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on cyber range operations and management.</li> <li>Strong leadership and project management skills.</li> <li>Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.</li> <li>Ability to schedule training sessions, industry workshops, government/military training, community outreach events, research projects, and special events like hackathons, CTFs, and competitions.</li> <li>Knowledge of current cybersecurity threats, technologies, and best practices.</li> </ul>    Preferred Qualifications  <strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong> <ul> <li>Graduate degree in computer science or related field.</li> <li>Cybersecurity certifications</li> </ul>    Physical Demands No physical demands but requires coordination.
