JOB SUMMARY Beyond the typical tax season, the VITA Program Specialist will work to reach eligible taxpayers in their own communities and networks with the message of free tax preparation. Establish connections with trusted local organizations where VITA services might be offered in future tax seasons, and recruit VITA volunteers who can serve taxpayers in their preferred languages. The VITA Program Specialist will also assist in translating and distributing print and other materials. During the tax season, the VITA Program Specialist will review tax returns for accuracy, contact taxpayers to review their tax returns and facilitate transmitting returns. The VITA Program Specialist may answer questions from tax return preparers regarding returns they are working and may contact taxpayers for additional tax-related information to ensure accurate tax returns. MECHANICAL JOURNEYMAN

<h2>Summary</h2> The Application Engineer II will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and optimization of applications used in midstream operations. Equipment includes modular equipment for dew point plants, mechanical refrigeration units, fractionation trains, cryogenic plants, amine systems, TEG dehydration systems, molecular sieve, and other systems found in the mid-stream market. This ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. <h2>Principle Responsibilities and Duties</h2> <ul> <li>Assist in evaluating the design and performance of proposed equipment.</li> <li>Assist in reviewing scope definition and project specifications, preparing system process simulation, developing equipment sizing, and preparing technical proposals.</li> <li>Assist more senior engineers in preparing technical documents.</li> <li>Participate in development of proposal Process Flow Diagrams.</li> <li>Maintain knowledge of codes and standards applicable to the products in the global market.</li> <li>Interface with all operational departments within the company.</li> <li>Maintain customer relationships; participate in client clarification meetings as required.</li> <li>Position may require some domestic and international travel.</li> <li>Duties must be performed consistently with the company mission and values and adhere to company policies and procedures.</li> <li>Quality: Ensure alignment of Enerflex, customer, and vendor quality control and quality assurance in bids.</li> <li>Abide by and promote Enerflex’s HSE policy. </li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>Chemical Engineering degree preferred. </li> <li>6 months to 2 years of experience in application engineering, preferably in the oil and gas midstream sector.</li> <li>Ability to develop process simulations using HYSYS, ProMax, or similar software. </li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office products.</li> <li>Fluency in English.</li> <li>Knowledge of product mechanical design, thermodynamics, chemical processing, and instrumentation &amp; controls.</li> <li>Time management skills including multi-tasking competing priorities as needed.</li> <li>Ability to generate alternative solutions.</li> <li>Being customer-centered and able to maintain satisfied customer and vendor relationships.</li> <li>Desire and ability to resolve technical problems with a desire and ability to continue learning</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li> <li>Must be self-motivated and team oriented, capable of learning, managing time, priorities, and operating well under pressure with little supervision.</li> </ul> #LI-KL1 <h2>Physical Requirements</h2> <ul> <li>Fast-paced general office environment. Job Summary: Work with an engagement team to provide quality tax services to clients in various industries, including manufacturing, oil and gas, insurance, health care, wholesale/distribution, financial institution, governmental and nonprofit companies. <ul> <li>Actively maintains the firm’s core values HT3 and service standards.</li> <li>Prepare federal and state tax returns for business and individual clients</li> <li>Apply general tax rules and concepts to returns</li> <li>Hone tax research and planning skills, including the ability to identify, analyze and articulate problems and opportunities, and propose solutions as a client advocate</li> <li>Effectively communicate results, both internally and externally on project and client information</li> <li>Understand client objectives and maximize the value of the service we provide with respect to attaining those objectives</li> <li>Maintain understanding of all relevant computer software applications and how they might best be used to promote efficient use of time</li> <li>Obtain understanding of the economics of job performance by reviewing and working within Firm operational budgets and billing constraints</li> <li>Develop time management skills and identify process improvement opportunities</li> <li>Attend and participate in tax training as assigned by management</li> <li>Participate in professional and business organizations as required</li> <li>Participate in client development and marketing efforts as required</li> <li>Compliance to the Firm’s quality control standards</li> </ul> QUALIFICATIONS: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a business related field required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited college preferred</li> <li>Compliance to or working towards compliance to the 150-hour rule preferred </li> <li>Experience as an intern in a public accounting environment and/or six months to 2 years public accounting experience preferred</li> <li>Strong technical, research, organizational and analytical skills required</li> <li>Experience in a paperless accounting software preferred</li> <li>Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and other software applications</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Ability to meet deadlines</li> </ul> PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job the employee will regularly be required to sit, stand, reach, walk, drive, kneel, crouch, crawl and lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
