Primary Duties: <ul> <li>Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.</li> <li>Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.</li> <li>Answers frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.</li> <li>Oversee the onboarding process for new hires and rehires, ensuring all progress is tracked through the applicant tracking system.</li> <li>Administer two learning management systems, including initiating training and monitoring training completion within both systems.</li> <li>Implement and administer the background and drug testing system.</li> <li>Contribute to various ad hoc projects, such as annual employee drug testing, employment verification forms, maintaining campus-wide State and Federal labor law posters, auditing files within the HRIS for accuracy etc. </li> <li>Collaborate closely with the Director of Auxiliary Programs during and leading up to Summer Programs to ensure the onboarding and verification of all student and adult workers.</li> <li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> The above essential functions are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. Employees are expected to perform other job-related duties as assigned. <h2>Qualifications</h2> MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND DESIRED <ul> <li>Associates Degree or minimum of 1-2 years equivalent experience required. Bachelor's degree preferred. </li> <li>Proficient with the Google Suite of products and Microsoft Word and Excel required.</li> </ul> PREVIOUS RELATED EXPERIENCE DESIRED <ul> <li>Previous experience working with Paycom systems .</li> </ul> EXPECTATIONS / REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE <ul> <li>Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle numerous projects at the same time.</li> <li>Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Creativity and flexibility as needed. </li> <li>Ability to collaborate with colleagues in departments and across campus.</li> <li>Strong computer skills. </li> <li>Must be a self-starter, team player, problem solver and able to maintain strict confidentiality standards. </li> <li>Regular attendance is required for successful completion of job duties.</li> </ul> WORKING CONDITIONS <ul> <li>Working hours to be determined. </li> <li>Primarily works indoors in standard office conditions and climate.</li> <li>Activities include walking, standing, bending, kneeling, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual activity.
