This position is part-time and is primarily responsible for managing onboarding and assisting the HR department.
Primary Duties:
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Answers frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires and rehires, ensuring all progress is tracked through the applicant tracking system.
- Administer two learning management systems, including initiating training and monitoring training completion within both systems.
- Implement and administer the background and drug testing system.
- Contribute to various ad hoc projects, such as annual employee drug testing, employment verification forms, maintaining campus-wide State and Federal labor law posters, auditing files within the HRIS for accuracy etc.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Auxiliary Programs during and leading up to Summer Programs to ensure the onboarding and verification of all student and adult workers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND DESIRED
- Associates Degree or minimum of 1-2 years equivalent experience required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proficient with the Google Suite of products and Microsoft Word and Excel required.
PREVIOUS RELATED EXPERIENCE DESIRED
- Previous experience working with Paycom systems .

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Working hours to be determined.
- Primarily works indoors in standard office conditions and climate.
- Activities include walking, standing, bending, kneeling, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual activity. The work is performed primarily indoors.
- Occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
- May work at a desk and computer for extended periods of time.
