As a Senior Electrical Engineer on Olsson's Facilities Engineering and Design team, you’ll provide high-level technical support and lead quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) activities that drive excellence in healthcare facilities design. In this role, you’ll apply your expertise to independently make recommendations and decisions that enhance the design and functionality of healthcare environments. You’ll work on complex projects, develop unique solutions, and ensure that our designs meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Primary Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Lead the design and review of electrical systems for complex healthcare facilities projects.</li> <li>Serve as a technical specialist, applying advanced electrical engineering concepts to address the unique challenges of healthcare environments.</li> <li>Perform QA/QC and ensure that electrical designs meet project objectives and regulatory standards.</li> <li>Conduct research to inform innovative design solutions that improve patient care and operational efficiency.</li> <li>Advise and direct staff on electrical design approaches to meet project requirements and client expectations.</li> <li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall project designs.</li> <li>Contribute to the development of standards and guidelines for electrical engineering activities within the team.</li> <li>Mentor and supervise less experienced staff, providing guidance on technical assignments and career development.</li> </ul> We have multiple current openings and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our Lincoln, Omaha, Des Moines, Denver, Loveland, Colorado Springs, Kansas City, Dallas-Fort Worth, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Phoenix, St. Louis, and Fayetteville office locations.
