The Engineering Technician would also be involved in supporting with project work, including testing parts for product development or corrective actions.Job Requirements:<ul> <li>Produce final sketches of proposed drawings, meticulously verifying dimensions of parts, material specifications, interrelationships of components, and the connections of various parts within the entire structure or project.</li> <li>Apply knowledge of machines, engineering practices, mathematics, materials, and physical sciences to complete drawings effectively.</li> <li>Implement adjustments or modifications as required to achieve desired outcomes.</li> <li>Translate preliminary sketches into polished designs.</li> <li>Utilize computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software to enhance drafting efficiency and accuracy.</li> <li>Create and maintain 3D models of OsecoElfab Products and Tooling, in line with design inputs from various engineering roles.</li> <li>Establish new part setup data in Epicor using established procedures and data specifications.</li> <li>Update and maintain existing product data in Epicor, ensuring consistency with established specifications.</li> <li>Support Design and Product Engineers with product manufacture and testing for both product development, product audits and corrective actions.</li> </ul>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:<ul> <li>Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting customer or in-house drawings, sketches, data sheets, and markup drawings, as well as technical documents and regulations.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, correspondence, and effectively conveying information to different teams within the company.</li> <li>Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with manufacturing, sales, and other company personnel.</li> <li>Sound mathematical aptitude encompassing plane and solid geometry, trigonometry, and practical application of mathematical concepts in creating and maintaining drawings and 3D models.</li> <li>Problem-solving skills and adaptability in dealing with varying variables, especially in non-standardized situations.</li> <li>Ability to interpret a wide range of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.</li> <li>Proficiency in the use of 3D CAD modeling software such as SolidWorks or equivalent, as well as Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).</li> <li>Experience working within an ERP system, with preference for familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365.</li> <li>Experience working in a manufacturing environment, operating equipment according to standard working instructions or engineering guidelines.</li> </ul>Education and Certification Qualifications:<ul><li>Associates degree (A.A.) from a two year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education of experience. </li></ul>Not the right fit?
