Staff Accountant, GL Operations

SUMMARY The Staff Accountant is responsible for managing and coordinating daily accounting functions for AMETEK Chandler transactions at the Broken Arrow, OK location. This includes calculating and posting financial journal entries, preparing account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting procedures and internal controls. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES <ul> <li> Prepare month-end journal entries and monthly balance sheet account reconciliations of key accounts (Accounts Payable, Intercompany, Prepaid, and Accrued Liabilities). </li> <li> Process daily customer invoicing, ensuring compliance to Company’s Revenue Recognition Policies (ASC606). </li> <li> Process invoices on customer portals, and daily cash collections to ensure the timely receipt of receivables and resolve invoice discrepancies. </li> <li> Process vendor invoices and credit memos including 3-way matching and manually coded overhead invoices.
