A remote location, in most cases, is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. The annual US base salary range for this role is $115,800 - $195,000. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to step into a leadership role, providing mentorship and oversight for a high-performing non-operated revenue team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, bringing strong analytical skills and a passion for driving process improvements. This role will focus heavily on oil and gas revenue analysis and accounting transactions, while also playing a key part in monthly close processes and cross-departmental coordination. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Lead and support a team of revenue accountants to ensure timely and accurate completion of daily responsibilities</li> <li>Assist with the execution of month-end revenue close processes and ensure compliance throughout</li> <li>Conduct first-level review of revenue vouchers for quality assurance prior to SAP entry</li> <li>Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Production, Division Order, and Operations</li> <li>Ensure that all deadlines related to revenue distribution are met consistently</li> <li>Facilitate workflow improvements to optimize team efficiency and communication</li> <li>Tackle ad hoc projects and support strategic initiatives as needed</li> <li>Resolve complex issues through effective communication and interdepartmental coordination</li> <li>Prepare monthly reconciliations of revenue accounts when necessary</li> </ul> Required Qualifications &amp; Experience: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting </li> <li>Minimum of five years of accounting experience</li> <li>In-depth knowledge of oil and gas revenue, production, and general accounting practices</li> <li>Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and SumIF functions</li> </ul> Nice to Have Skills &amp; Experience: <ul> <li>Hands-on experience with SAP’s PRA module</li> <li>A history of implementing process improvements to drive efficiency</li> <li>Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and dynamic workflows</li> <li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li> </ul> Perks &amp; Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package available If you are interested in learning more about the Revenue Accounting Lead opportunity, please submit your resume for consideration.
