Overview This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location: NC. This position is a strategic professional who stays up-to-date with all the technical issues affecting the bank and contributes to directional strategy through proactive communication, collaboration and partnership with both internal and external teams for all issues which might potentially impact the end-user and ultimately, the Global Service Desk team. Developed communication and diplomacy skills is required in order to guide and influence our external teams and communicate to internal technology teams the impact and help that the Global Service Desk would need that would affect the overall performance and effectiveness of the Service Desk. Provides analysis and address complex internal client issues and guidance on resolution by working with other resolver teams as needed and exhibit ownership throughout the resolution lifecycle. Provides technical expertise and guidance to our Service Desk team and facilitates projects that enhance service capabilities. Responsibilities <ul> <li>Collaboration – Participates in the Incident, Problem and Change management processes to ensure minimal disruptions, awareness of the team for planned changes and trending issues are addressed. Follows up on escalated calls for service level compliance and work with resolver groups on complex issues that might need a higher level of clarity. Serves as a trusted technical resource of the Global Service desk team.</li> <li>Communication – Ability to show clear problem solving through analysis of data from our ticketing tool (ServiceNow) and be able to translate this to actionable items for the Global Service Desk. Serves as the single point of contact for business unit representatives and project teams. Facilitates communication between parties involved in problem resolution.</li> <li>Business Support – Provides and works on innovation and new ideas that may benefit the Global Service Desk through expertise or experience in the financial services domain. May participate in special projects or other assignments to enable optimization and meet the business goals of the bank. Serves as a point of contact for all the applications used by the vendor that would include but would not be limited to their telephony, automation and other quality systems.</li> <li>Quality – Help monitor the quality of delivery of the Global Service Desk from a technical knowledge and resolution standpoint through cross-training and reinforcing escalation avoidance and ensures compliance of all security guidelines required by the bank is adhered to 100% of the time. </li> </ul> Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience in System Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support OR High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in System Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support Experience with call center telephony automatic call distributor, system monitoring tools, and reporting tools, Knowledge and experience supporting MS Exchange, Office 365, Internet Browsers, Remote Control, MS Teams, or other collaboration tools, Ability to manage client support tickets with ITSM tools such as Service Now, Knowledge of network, LAN, WAN, work stations and servers, STD OS (95, NT, etc.), STD MS Office applications, standard MS Window operating systems, and Office 365 applications, Knowledge of Bank branch operations, policies, and procedures, Experience working at a financial institution, CompTIA A+ certification First Citizens benefits programs are designed to meet our associates where they are in life. Technical Management Analyst - Remote (NC/NJ)

Overview This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office. This position leads system analysis efforts, delivers strategic insight, and acts as a technical expert for business systems within the Bank. Performs at the highest level of service complexity in support of system operations, performance, and usage. Develops advanced solutions and specifications to resolve process issues, which may involve elements of testing and development. Serves as a resource to wider business units or associates and may provide a leadership role for less experienced analysts. This role will interface with business, other application development teams within IT as well as various shared services organizations and infrastructure areas. Resource will be part of Treasury IT, supporting continued build out of investments, capital markets, cash, and liquidity management capabilities at First Citizens Bank. Responsibilities <ul> <li>Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Performs data analysis at the most advanced level, effectively communicating and directing analysis output. May handle special projects or direct the analysis efforts of the work group.</li> <li>Identifying Requirements - Determines system requirements and communicates them using specifications, reports, project plans, or other forms of documentation. Determines and resolves complex factors that affect system processes. Ensures compliance through monitoring and analysis.</li> <li>Reporting - Enables strategic insight into business systems through reports to senior management. Serves as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units, offering expertise on systems and data output.</li> <li>Lead engagement with business partners on changing business needs, analyze business requirements, and communicate the system implications of proposed system changes.</li> <li>Provide leadership to team members and peers.</li> </ul> Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support Preferred Qualifications <ul> <li>More than 10 years of experience working as a business systems analyst in the financial industry (Treasury, Liquidity, Cash Management, Group Finance, Regulatory Reporting, Product Control etc.).</li> <li>Proven track record in business requirements elicitation techniques, translation to functional and non-functional requirements, solutions design, story writing, test planning and change management.</li> <li>Proven experience in business process reengineering and systems analysis.</li> <li>Experience working with data management projects having experience in data analysis, data governance, data quality and lineage.</li> <li>Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze business requirements to determine processing flow, user needs, and inter-dependencies of multiple information systems.</li> <li>Experience in defining test strategy and writing test cases.</li> <li>Strong SQL skills: ability to write complex and effective SQL queries.</li> <li>Experience in SDLC and Agile methodologies.</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills; history of active engagement with business partners and stakeholders.</li> <li>Functional knowledge of financial instruments like Repo, Investments, Cash, Derivatives, and Debt is a plus.</li> <li>Experience with any of the following is a plus: Quantum, Swift, Aladdin, Clearwater, Chatham Financials, Pinnacle, QRM.</li> </ul> First Citizens benefits programs are designed to meet our associates where they are in life.
