TERRY Checking in merchandise, bringing it to the floor, assisting other associates, shipping out. MATT You have to be willing to work independently. You have to be willing to work quickly. If you stay busy and keep working, you’ll notice that the nights and things go by as fast as possible. TERRY It is tough. You do lift a lot. I walk over ten thousand steps a day. I got my stepper, but it’s good when you punch out and you go home and you feel really good about the job that you did for the day. JARED This is my second job. They have been very good about working with me. There’s sometimes where I’ve been able to take nights off, but work a little bit longer on another night. So they’ve been very flexible. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at the CrisisCare Center is responsible for providing medical psychiatric assistance to adult consumers with mental illness or co-occurring disorders. Responsible for activities related to workflow processes. Must maintain confidentiality of materials processed and demonstrate knowledge of co-occurring disorders and appropriate interventions. Minimize the disabling effects of mental illness and substance abuse disorder and empower consumers to manage their health, prevent diseases and improve overall wellness by implementing health strategies. Incorporate disease management models that address behavioral disorders. Requires completion of Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) Program and current certification as an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Oklahoma. <ul> <li>Previous experience working with clients with mental illness and or substance abuse is preferred, but not required.</li> <li>Requires knowledge of professional LPN practice care techniques and medical procedures, medical supplies, sanitation and personal hygiene; and of nutrition.</li> <li>Skills in planning, organizing, and applying nursing care techniques working with clients with mental illness and co-occurring disorders.</li> <li>Able to follow oral and written instructions.</li> <li>Skills in exercising judgment, initiative self-control, patience in following detailed and or written instructions; and in maintaining a sympathetic and harmonious relationship with consumers with mental illness and co-occurring disorders.</li> <li>Must be able to lift and/or maneuver a minimum of 50 pounds.</li> <li>This position requires frequent repetitive motions to include but not limited to: bending, stooping, twisting, squatting, reaching, pulling and pushing.
