Our team is passionate about what we do, and we want you to make us even better!</p> <p><strong>CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR ALL POSITIONS UNTIL FILLED.</strong></p> <h2> <strong>JOB DESCRIPTION</strong><br>- FULL-TIME </h2>  <p>To provide support to all customers entering the Concierge office/desks and to Concierge staff. To represent the ORU Concierge office well to external and internal customers.</p> <h2><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></h2>  <ul> <li>Make sure the Concierge Office Desk is manned at all times.</li> <li>Greet and welcome all persons entering the Concierge office/desks. Answer phones and transfer calls appropriately.</li> <li>Offer the best customer service to students, parents, and other patrons at all times. Excellent work attitude and demeanor are required.</li> <li>Manage all aspects of front desk communications. Answer patron questions. Gatekeeper duties to direct customers to the correct Concierge staff person or other ORU offices as needed.</li> <li>Plan and execute Concierge Hospitality events and promotions. Create and develop marketing materials to be approved by supervisors.</li> <li>Maintain Residence Halls desk books and assemble and disperse daily logs.</li> <li>Schedule student workers as needed and ensure they maintain Concierge procedures and protocol.</li> <li>Maintain front office and work areas in pristine condition.</li> <li>Occasionally work other Concierge desks, at The Pantry or after-hours when needed for various events.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director/Director.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong></h2>  <p><strong>Education:</strong> High School diploma or GED and some college</p> <p><strong>Experience/Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Previous clerical experience of various duties helpful with an understanding of proper office protocol.</li> <li>Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills. </li> <li>Must be personable and able to meet, greet, and welcome customers with a cheerful attitude. </li> <li>Candidate must enjoy people and present well to the public.</li> <li>Must be knowledgeable of information needed to accurately answer questions about the university and be detail oriented. </li> <li>Ability to make decisions and act effectively in stressful situations required. </li> <li>Must have basic computer knowledge with experience in Microsoft Word and Excel and be willing to learn other programs as necessary. </li> </ul> <p><em>Equal Employment Opportunity:</em></p> <p><em>Oral Roberts University promotes equal employment opportunities for all individuals regardless of differences in race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status.</em></p>
