<h2>Posting Details</h2> Position Information Position Title IT Project Manager Job Description Job Summary: The Information Technology Project Manager is responsible for all phases of project management in the planning and tactical execution of technology initiatives that support the mission of The University of Tulsa. The Project Manager assists business units in improving the way they deliver services by understanding their needs, analyzing existing business processes, translating change and implementation requests into IT project requirements, and overseeing and managing those projects and implementations to successful completion. The position is responsible for managing project expectations, defining project scope and deliverables, communicating the functional requirements and dependencies to the relevant IT team members, developing project plans, and creating relevant documentation to track progress. In addition, this role may also provide technical administration support for a portfolio of applications currently in production for the university. The university is a highly collaborative environment, communication across organizational units within IT, faculty, staff, and administration is essential in support of project management. This role works closely with all levels of IT and the university to provide technology leadership and strategic planning for the university. Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Project Management (60%): The IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects related to the development and implementation of new systems and applications.
