Requisition Number2234935 Description &amp; Requirements As a Senior Staff Accountant in our Outsourced Accounting Services (OAS) group, you will be a valued member of our team and will build relationships with our outsourcing clients. How you will contribute: <ul> <li>Acts as the primary contact for clients accounting issues.</li> <li>Collaborates with a team to deliver comprehensive accounting services to clients.</li> <li>Manages accounting operations for clients, acting as their accounting department.</li> <li>Reconciles client accounts/bank accounts and depreciation schedule preparation.</li> <li>Leverages technology to ensure real-time accounting transaction accuracy.</li> <li>Performs month-end balancing, journal entries, and general ledger account analysis, serving as the outsourced controller during the month-end process.</li> <li>Prepares necessary reports and documents, including sales tax reports, payroll tax reports, year-end tax forms, and financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual).</li> <li>Recommends process improvements.</li> <li>Offers backup support to other outsourced accounting specialists and their clients as needed.</li> <li>Ensures projects are completed accurately and on time.</li> <li>Adheres to project budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines.</li> </ul> We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and: <ul> <li>Strong initiative and solution-finding abilities</li> <li>Commitment to providing unmatched client service </li> <li>Ability to prioritize work for multiple clients and consistently meet target dates </li> <li>Precise attention to detail</li> <li>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients.</li> </ul> Minimum Qualifications: <ul> <li>An Associates Degree or higher in Accounting preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be substituted.</li> <li>Knowledge of general ledger accounting and principals.</li> <li>Ability to think innovatively to incorporate technology solutions and streamlined processes.</li> <li>Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.</li> <li>Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.</li> <li>Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), QuickBooks, and using various software packages.</li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications: <ul> <li> Bachelor's degree in accounting. </li> <li>1 year or more of experience in public accounting preferred.</li> </ul> #LI-ENID, #LI-OKC, #LI-TULSA #LI-KH3 With a legacy spanning more than 100 years, Forvis Mazars is committed to providing a different perspective and an unmatched client experience that feels right, personal and natural.
