Under general supervision, data entry for vendor payments and cash receipts for new and existing vendors in Banner Finance. Set up new finance elements for users in Banner Finance.</p> <h2><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></h2>  <ul> <li>Processing invoices for vendor payments.</li> <li>Setup, change, and delete security for Banner Finance users.</li> <li>Interface with departments requesting organizational details for Banner Finance.</li> <li>Monitoring incomplete documents for month end close.</li> <li>Data entry of daily cash receipts.</li> <li>Ad-hoc reporting and assist with special projects as assigned.</li> </ul> <h2><strong> REQUIREMENTS</strong></h2>  <p><strong>EDUCATION:  </strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in accounting or business, preferred</li> <li>At least 1 year of accounting experience, preferred</li> <li>Understand basic accounting principles and 10-key</li> </ul> <p><strong>EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Must have the ability to work under high stress while dealing with deadlines.</li> <li>Must have fast, accurate data entry skills, and be familiar with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software programs. </li> <li>Requires good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, mathematical, statistical and data analysis skills, and be detail oriented.</li> <li>Must have the ability to effectively deal with persons from a variety of cultural backgrounds.</li> <li>Must maintain a high level of confidentiality of information.</li> <li>Maintains compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)</li> </ul> <p><em>Equal Employment Opportunity:</em></p> <p><em>Oral Roberts University promotes equal employment opportunities for all individuals regardless of differences in race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status.</em></p>
