R10066042 Buyer (Open)Location:Tulsa, OK - W. 7th St. - Management<h2>How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?</h2>Support all field, operations and engineering internal customers with professional competitive bidding, proposal analysis, negotiation and contract development for goods and services.Job Functions:<ul> <li>Ensuring that all requests have clearly defined mechanical and performance specifications and/or scope of work to effectively communicate Airgas requirements to potential suppliers</li> <li>Maximizing the purchasing power of Air Liquide USA and Airgas, to reduce our total cost of ownership and increase efficiencies and measure these savings</li> <li>Ensuring timely and accurate placement of purchase orders/contracts in accordance with the requirements of internal customers and the approved supplier list maximizing the savings achieved in each transaction</li> <li>Enters purchase orders into the ERP system</li> <li>Protecting Air Liquide through sound commercial and legal terms incorporated in the purchase order or contract</li> <li>Effectively issuing requests for proposal, analyzing technical and commercial responses from suppliers on required products and services, negotiating the requirements and sourcing the requirement through accepted suppliers.</li> <li>Identifying and implementing pricing agreements with preferred suppliers for continuous improvement and cost savings</li> <li>Managing all blanket orders to ensure expiration dates do not lapse before renewal.</li> <li>Establishing additional blanket orders and or contracts where beneficial</li> <li>Displays proficient knowledge and use of Oracle R12 procurement and reporting modules</li> <li>Handling correspondence/copying/faxing and general office duties for the department</li> <li>Purchase order placement and negotiations to optimize savings</li> <li> Meeting or exceeding customer expectations on responding to questions</li> <li> Accurate distribution of documentation to appropriate parties</li> <li> Accurate and timely entry of purchase orders/contracts into purchasing system</li> <li>Management of incoming phone calls </li> </ul><h2>________________________</h2><h2>Are you a MATCH? </h2> Required:<ul> <li>Minimum of 2-5 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Management</li> <li>Proficient use of Google+ for e-mail</li> <li>Proficient in the use of Google+ products, including Slides, Calendar, Drive, Sheets, and Docs</li> </ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or other business related fields. </li></ul>________________________We care about and support our Airgas Families.
