The Volume Management Representative II/III coordinates with customers and company partners to optimize gas gathering and processing, ensuring system balance and compliance with contractual obligations. This role involves scheduling natural gas movements, managing imbalances, and monitoring pipeline capacity. This representative serves as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external customers, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to North American Energy Standards Board (NAESB) guidelines. Additionally, the role includes preparing and analyzing reports on gas flows and market conditions to support decision-making.

Volume Management Rep III

Responsibilities/Expectations:

  • Manages daily gas nominations, confirmations, and scheduling with pipelines, shippers, and internal teams, ensuring compliance and coordination
  • Resolves and tracks imbalances by collaborating with customers, pipelines, and marketing teams, supporting sound financial decision-making
  • Acts as the primary contact for external stakeholders, maintaining relationships and communicating daily requirements
  • Prepares and analyzes reports on gas flows, capacity constraints, and market conditions, identifying discrepancies and coordinating resolutions
  • Ensures accurate reconciliation of nominations with flow data across systems, constraint points, and agreements
  • Maintains desktop procedures, mentors team members, and ensures accurate data validation, process completion, report distribution, and public posting compliance

Education/Years of Experience:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in business field and minimum of 5 years’ related experience in natural gas industry
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in the business field and three to five years of natural gas scheduling experience and eight years of experience in the natural gas industry

Shift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work after hours, on-call rotations, evenings, weekend shifts and holiday as needed
  • May be required to work overtime

Other Requirements:

  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Needs proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
  • Prepares and analyzes reports with a strong focus on accuracy and identifying discrepancies

Volume Management Rep II

Responsibilities/Expectations:

  • Interacts and communicates with external/internal partners to monitor nominations, flowing gas, imbalance positions, contract compliance and other key factors
  • Performs scheduling duties and assignments such as validation of data, successful completion of all internal processes, distribution of reports and meets public posting requirements
  • Monitors and analyzes data to identify discrepancies; communicates with others identify resolutions
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Years of Experience:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum six (6) months related experience

Shift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements:

  • Must be available to work after hours, on-call rotations, evenings, weekend shifts and holidays as the need arises
  • May be required to work overtime

Other Requirements:

  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
  • Knowledge of the energy industry
  • Preferred: Experience calculating, summarizing, and analyzing data using PivotTables
  • Preferred: Proficiency in GasKit, ClearSCADA and FlowCal platforms
