About the Team
The Workday VNDLY Functional Consulting Team are all about our customers and configuring Workday VNDLY to solve their day to day problems. We are true consultants who care about our customers goals and how best to use our technology to meet their goals.Our team of specialists have a broad and deep understanding of the Contingent Labor landscape (Staffing or Managed Services Provider MSP) and Vendor Management System (VMS) industries by working in this space or working with other VMS software directly or indirectly. The team is responsible for delivery to our clients such as performing live demonstrations, requirement gathering, and all aspects of the deployment.
The Workday VNDLY Functional Team works directly with our customers throughout a project deployment and is tasked with delivering various key milestones within the project.
We help our customers make the most of Workday VNDLY and how we interact with other Workday core products.
About the Role
As a Functional Consultant, you will provide full life-cycle deployment expertise to our customers from gathering requirements, configuring Workday VNDLY, and testing various modules to align with their business requirements.
The key to be successful is to problem solve, think on your feet, advise customers of their options and be a trusted resource. Once you learn Workday VNDLY, the word "consultant" really becomes the key to this role.
About You
- Understand customer business requirements and demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototype systems and support the testing phase.
Love to problem solve and ‘think’ through various requirements and how you would configure the software to meet customer needs
Work with technical consultants to ensure seamless touch points throughout project
Participate in updates to training and best practices to share across the team
Provide the Engagement Manager with status reports and keep them informed of overall project status
Mentor less experienced consultants and embody a team focused mindset
Basic Qualifications: Functional Consultant (P3)
2+ years of functional experience in Vendor Management Software (VMS) solutions or systems
Experience (2+ years) in Contingent Labor, Staffing, or Recruiting
2+ years deploying ATS or other HR related solutions or systems
2+ years Consulting experience
Basic Qualifications: Sr Functional Consultant (P4)
5+ years of functional experience in Vendor Management Software (VMS) solutions or systems
Experience (5+ years) in Contingent Labor, Staffing, or Recruiting
5+ years deploying ATS or other HR related solutions or systems
5+ years Consulting experience
Other Qualifications:
2+ years experience implementing SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, or similar applications
Passion for customer service and project management
Great Teammate and able to demonstrate this trait
Comprehensive product knowledge, including a thorough understanding of product features, benefits, applications, and market positioning
Strong industry knowledge is crucial, including staying abreast of current trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory environments to contribute to risk management, and identifying new opportunities
Proven solutions design skills, with the ability to analyze business challenges and develop effective solutions that leverage technology and optimize resources
Expertise in strategic business consulting, including market analysis, financial savvy, and strategic planning, to drive organizational growth and performance
Potential travel up to 25%

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location.
