JOB SUMMARY

A Specialized Visual Merchandising Specialist is the frontline expert for our stores, working directly with customers and staff to create captivating in-store experiences that resonate with local communities. As a host, visual strategist, and brand advocate, the Visual Merchandising Specialist ensures our stores are welcoming, brand-aligned, and visually dynamic, helping to elevate customer engagement and drive sales. Through innovative design and an eye for detail, they shape environments that showcase our products in ways that inspire and connect with our customers.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Implement and maintain brand visual standards across all retail displays, ensuring they reflect the current promotions, new product launches, and seasonal trends.
  • Regularly refresh and optimize store layouts to enhance the customer journey, focusing on flow, product discovery, and accessibility.
  • Tailor visual merchandising strategies to reflect local community interests, preferences, and cultural trends. Create engaging in-store experiences that connect with customers on a deeper level.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager, Store Environment Manager, and Business Development Manager to align visual merchandising with sales objectives, product availability, and customer demographics.
  • Design and execute displays that drive foot traffic, highlight key products, and enhance sales opportunities. Monitor sales data to adjust and refine displays based on performance.
  • Ensure that all in-store presentations and displays are consistent with the brand’s image and guidelines, maintaining a high level of visual excellence.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support in-store events and promotions by designing visually compelling event setups and promotional displays.
  • Partner with inventory and merchandise planners to ensure that displays are well-stocked, up to date, and aligned with overall inventory levels.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of visual merchandising initiatives through customer feedback, sales performance, and store traffic, providing insights for continuous improvement

WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN

  • 2+ years in visual merchandising, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Strong eye for design, creativity, and attention to detail. Ability to analyze customer behavior and sales trends to inform merchandising strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in visual merchandising tools and design software. Knowledge of current trends in retail merchandising and customer engagement.
  • Proficiency in merchandising software (Sketch-Up Pro), MS Office suite, and Adobe Suites
  • Willingness to travel between locations in Phoenix and Tucson.
  • Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 pounds
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
