Primary Purpose of Job: Collects and analyzes data, validates accuracy of data, monitors data for outliers and data discrepancies, and effectively communicates relevant information on a timely basis.
Major Functions:
- Continually analyze Video Analytics data to ensure that it is accurate and meets QT requirements/standards. Setup and maintain systems and processes to catch and alert on incomplete or inaccurate data. Communicate issues to Operations and Video Analytics partners. 40% of Job
- Provide information and direction to Operations and Video Analytics partners related to their research. Leverage third party analytics and research tools, internally developed data science tools, and data sources to support domain specific hypotheses. Own on-going communication with Operations and Video Analytics partners to assess and optimize analyses and deliverables. 15% of total job
- Understands, collects, and documents Operations’ requirements, goals, and KPIs, as well as timelines for current and future Video Analytics features. Facilitate innovation and alternative solutions during initiative scoping and implementation. Document and archive project progress and key issues hindering stakeholders’ success. Distribute project related updates to Operations and relevant Data Science Personnel. 15% of total job
- Maintain knowledge of QT Store processes and procedures as well as QT project efforts that affect store employees, store design, and other key factors that may impact Video Analytics. Own communication of changes to Operations and Video Analytics partners of upcoming changes that may impact accuracy of the Video Analytics system/data. 10% of total job
- Supports Operations’ initiatives with ad hoc research, data querying, report generation, and sample validation studies to ensure data collection is representative and generalizable. 10% of total job
- Maintains communication with Data Science and Data Services regarding customers’ use, issues, and needs. Maintain up to date knowledge of Data Science and Data Services programs and processes. 10% of total job

Position Specifications:
Required education: Associate degree in business, marketing, or in the related field of Data Analyst, statistics, research, or Business Analyst; or equivalent QT experience.
Desired Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Data Analyst related fields of study. Certified Business Analysis or Project Management Professional Certification.
Required experience: Five to seven years of experience in research, related quantitative field, or comparable QuikTrip experience. 4 years QuikTrip Store experience.
Desired experience: Seven or more years of experience in marketing, research, related quantitative field, business analysis, or comparable QuikTrip experience. 8 years QuikTrip Store experience.
Required skills: Verbal and written communications; ability to multi-task; critical thinking; analytical; ability to provide effective leadership; working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience using a third-party analytics environment; experience deploying the scientific method; project management experience.
Desired skills: Experience using and building PowerBI reports

Starting Salary: $96,700-$120,900
