The Vice President (VP) of Finance is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing and guiding the financial strategies, policies, and operations the company. This role is critical in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the company, driving financial performance, and supporting strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure accurate financial planning for manufacturing operations.
- Internal Reporting: Oversee the preparation of financial reports for business leaders, providing insights to the executive team regarding the company's production efficiency and costs.
- Treasury: Assist in cash management and forecasting, developing hedging strategies to mitigate risk and evaluate debt and liquidity needs.
- Investment Management: Evaluate and manage investments, capital expenditures, and funding strategies to optimize returns and support growth in manufacturing capabilities.
- Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the manufacturing setting.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Oversee investor relations and ensure collaboration with the FP&A team.
- Help drive process improvements, automation and ERP system enhancements to optimize financial operations.
Qualifications

- Education: A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance roles, with significant experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Skills: Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills; excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and investment strategies specific to the manufacturing sector.
