Summary:
The ReStore Driver will support Green Country Habitat for Humanity through effective management of the ReStore Truck Driving Operations and will create and maintain positive visibility of Green Country Habitat for Humanity in the community. The Green Country Habitat ReStore Driver requires someone who can work with limited oversight, while projecting a professional image in speech and demeanor in their interactions with others in multiple venues and scenarios. The ReStore Driver is an ambassador for GCHFH and is often making a first impression of the organization to donors and customers, therefore a positive attitude is a must.

Essential Functions:
- Drives the truck to pick up donated products.
- Helps to load items at the donor's location in a safe and courteous fashion. Respecting the donor's property and personal belongings.
- Assists in unloading truck at ReStore, following back dock guidelines.
- Helps clean and move priced items to the showroom floor, as needed.
- Assists in other areas within the ReStore, as requested.
- Assists in keeping trucks well maintained and clean.
- Completes daily and weekly vehicle safety checklists.
- Submits all requested scheduling and trucking documentation timely.
- Follows all safety and reporting guidelines as outlined by ReStore management.
- Completes daily routes safely and effectively. Partnering with the General Manager and Support Coordinator to maximize donation pick up time, and minimize miles driven.
- Drives a van or box truck.
- Loads items at the work site in a safe and courteous fashion.
- Assists in unloading truck at Store, following dock guidelines.
- Operates powerlift equipment and various power tools
Safety Duties:
- Maintain a workplace free from serious recognized hazards and comply with safety standards, rules, and regulations.
- Use tools available to maintain a safe environment.
- Educate yourself on hazards, safety practices and rules.
- Communicate about any unsafe practices and conditions.
- Always follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Reports any injury, accident or near miss (no matter how small) to management.
- See something, say something.

Position RequirementsSkills & Abilities:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline orientated environment.
- Must be 25 years of age with a valid Driver’s License and safe driving record.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule including Saturday and Sunday required.
- 1-2 years' experience in retail and/or service and/or driving/moving.
- Previous large vehicle experience preferred.
Education:
- High School or GED equivalent.
