Job Summary: Devise and implement training programs focused on hands on learning, industrial education, and development according to organizational requirements.
Essential Responsibilities/Activities:
- Provides in-class lecture and hands-on based instruction on AAON mechanical equipment and controls.
- Acts as subject matter expert on AAON mechanical equipment and controls.
- Develops, facilitates, and maintains curriculums, outlines and instructional methods for training programs.
- Monitors training programs and makes modifications as needed.
- Prepares and maintains training materials, equipment, and tools.
- Schedules and organizes training at AAON facilities and provides training and support at off-site locations as needed.
- Validates knowledge, skills and abilities through evaluation of hands-on skills and knowledge-based assessments appropriate to training topics covered.
Qualifications
Education, Experience and Other Requirements:
Degree(s): High School or equivalent and 5 years of experience in engineering, sales, field support, or training within the HVAC industry.
License(s): None
Certification(s): None
Other Requirements
- Intimate knowledge of AAON equipment and or AAON Controls.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Video Creation and Editing skills are a plus.

Essential Physical Functions:
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Flexible work schedule (daytime hours.)
- Travel to other facilities and off-site locations as needed.
