About Us:

Momentum3 is a forward-thinking technology company based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to our clients. We are looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager/Business Analyst to bridge the gap between product operations and engineering teams, ensuring seamless project execution and informed decision-making. If you're a strategic thinker, skilled negotiator, and technical problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you! Apply today and help drive impactful projects forward.

Role Overview:

This role is a hybrid of technical project management and business analysis, requiring a strong background in software development, stakeholder management, and agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with engineers, filtering project needs from the product operations team, and ensuring engineering is involved in key decision-making processes before solutions are finalized.

What You'll Do:

  • Act as the primary filter between the OT product operations team and the engineering team.
  • Translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bridge knowledge gaps between operations and development teams.
  • Maintain and prioritize product roadmaps, aligning development efforts with business goals.
  • Create clear and detailed user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Implement and manage Scrum processes, including sprint planning and backlog grooming.
  • Track project milestones, development progress, and sprint velocity.
  • Identify and mitigate risks while ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Prevent scope creep and negotiate priority adjustments when needed.
  • Coordinate testing, validation efforts, and production releases.

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical project management and/or business analysis.
  • Strong understanding of SCRUM and agile methodologies.
  • Experience working with software development teams, particularly in an environment where engineers have an active voice in project decisions.
  • Ability to prioritize backlogs, manage sprints, and coordinate software release cycles.
  • SQL knowledge is beneficial (no need to code but should understand queries for data analysis).
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to navigate complex decision-making environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate issues and proactively find solutions.
  • Exceptional listening and note-taking skills to ensure clear communication and project documentation.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience creating user stories and requirements documents.
  • Ability to understand and document complex workflows.
  • Experience working with development teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with retail operations systems.
  • SQL familiarity for data analysis and validation.
  • Knowledge of task management or scheduling systems.
  • Scrum Master certification.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar project management tools.
  • Understanding of user experience principles.
