Position Summary: The Talent Management Strategist works as a part of the team assigned to support schools and district leaders by providing high quality human resources and talent management services to leaders and staff. The Talent Management Strategist is the customer service point of contact for an assigned group of hiring managers for talent management including recruitment, candidate screening & selection, onboarding, employee & leader support, and maximizing retention efforts. Additionally, Talent Management Strategist support district leaders when issues of transfers, forced placements, separations, and performance arise. Other key aspects of the role include developing and executing district wide recruitment strategy as a member of the Talent team. Furthermore, candidate data collection and reporting, and other HR functions and effectiveness measures for all school-based staff.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in education, public administration, human resources management, business, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, or a closely related field
• Master's degree in the above fields or JD preferred
• Experience in talent management or human resources may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
Experience:
• Three (3) years of extensive experience in human resources, talent/human capital management or organizational development.
• School district experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in project management or closely related field experience should include recruitment, project management techniques and tools, group organization, communications, material preparation, candidate cultivation, task management, and cost and benefit financial analysis
• Experience in dealing with employee relations issues
• Experience as a school leader preferred
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.:
• PHR, SPHR and/or pHCLE certifications a plus
• Knowledge of human resources processes in educational settings, legal, or employment procedures
• Working knowledge of district's applicant tracking system and human capital management system.
• Strong analytical skills that inform problem-solving and decision-making capacity Demonstrated customer service skills, leadership ability, and decision-making skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites and Google Drive
• Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of recruitment and project management preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
