Position Summary: The Support Services Trainer supports districtwide implementation of safety, behavior, and trauma-informed practices under the direction and supervision of the Support Services Training Manager. This position helps deliver The Mandt System® training, as well as other district determined necessary trainings, to district staff, supports compliance
monitoring, and assists in the development and evaluation of training materials. The trainer plays a key role in promoting safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments by modeling de-escalation strategies, collecting behavioral data, and reinforcing trauma-informed approaches in collaboration with school-based teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
• High School Diploma
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in education, psychology, social work, or related field preferred
Experience:
• Two (2) years of experience working in an educational or behavioral support role
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.:
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
• Basic understanding of child development and trauma-informed behavior strategies
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
