Overview

This position is in Enterprise Data Management - Transaction Testing area which provides testing on regulatory and other key reports to validate that the data reported was consistent with the source documents, loan systems, and with any regulatory or executive guidance. The candidate would provide support to the Manager-Transaction Testing. Responsible for assisting a team of testers, validating the testing results, and providing the supporting information to compile the reports. Recommends enhancements to current processes and reports. Serves as backup for the Manager-Transaction Testing. This role is remote eligible on the East Coast.


Responsibilities

  • Sampling: Coordinate with the Sr. Risk Analyst – Adherence Testing to obtain samples with all the necessary information for regulatory report testing.
  • Testing: Lead the process of performing transaction testing on regulatory and other key reports. Assign workload to a team of offshore testers. Ensure testing team has access to all required systems. Train and mentor testing team. Monitor and provide regular updates on testing activities. Support the testing team as needed to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Validation: Consolidate testing results from testing team. Review and ensure all errors and discrepancies identified by the testers are accurate and supported with the relevant documentation. Interpret and summarize testing results.
  • Report: Work with the Transaction Testing Manager to compile and ensure timely completion and delivery of management reports that summarize the testing results.
  • Operational Support: Provides support and backup to the Manager – Transaction Testing, as necessary.
  • Remote eligible.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Risk management, or financial analysis, or statistical modeling OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Risk management, or financial analysis, or statistical modeling

Other Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Banking and Finance industry, preferably with commercial credit analysis.
  • Knowledge of commercial loan documents.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively; take instructions and take initiative.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word competency required.

If hired in NC the base pay for this position is generally between $94,000 and $164,000 per year. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
