Key Responsibilities

Data Modeling & Advanced Analysis

  • Develop and implement advanced statistical models to derive actionable insights from large, complex datasets.

  • Leverage predictive analytics and machine learning techniques to uncover trends, forecast business outcomes, and identify new revenue opportunities.

  • Use tools like JMP software to enhance statistical analysis and decision-making capabilities that directly support revenue-driving initiatives.

ERP Systems Integration & Optimization

  • Act as a subject matter expert for ERP systems, including SAP, Oracle E1, Business Objects, and Cognos.

  • Ensure seamless data integration and consistency across platforms to support accurate reporting and analysis.

Metrics & Dashboards Development

  • Design and deploy user-friendly, interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI to visualize critical metrics.

  • Establish scalable reporting frameworks that deliver real-time, actionable insights for business leaders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with collaborators from various departments to understand needs, prioritize projects, and provide customized solutions that tackle revenue critical business challenges.

  • Collaborate closely with the Data Engineering team to ensure seamless integration of data from the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP), including data mapping and transformation efforts.

Data Quality & Governance

  • Implement and maintain rigorous data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance processes to ensure high data integrity.

  • Develop and enforce governance policies for data use and management across teams.

Process Improvement & Innovation

  • Identify inefficiencies within existing workflows and propose innovative solutions to improve efficiency and decision-making.

  • Drive initiatives such as streamlining the FLIP process, a lead generation tool for field teams, to uncover and capitalize on low-visibility opportunities that contribute to additional sales.

Project Assessment & Prioritization

  • Collaborate with business collaborators to assess new project requests, evaluate feasibility, and prioritize initiatives based on strategic impact and resource availability.

  • Provide mentorship on project scope and objectives to ensure alignment with business goals.

Collaborator Communication

  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for audiences ranging from operational teams to executive leadership.

  • Present insights and recommendations in a way that drives alignment and action.

Requirements

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.

  • Advanced degrees (e.g., Master’s, MBA) are highly desirable.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a senior business analyst or in a comparable data analytics role.

  • Demonstrated success in bringing ERP systems to bear for business intelligence and decision-making.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced expertise in ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle E1, Business Objects, and Cognos.

  • Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and data visualization tools; familiarity with JMP software, Python, or R is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00–$137,500.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
