Position Summary: The Special Education Administrative Partner serves as the primary point of contact for principals on all matters related to Special Education. This role is essential in ensuring compliance, effective program implementation, and support for students with disabilities. The Special Education Partner collaborates closely with school leaders, teachers, and district staff to promote inclusive practices, federal compliance, and enhance the educational experience for students receiving special education services.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Master’s degree in Special Education or School Administration preferred
Experience:
• Three (3) years successful experience working with students in special education
• Successful school or district administrative experience preferred
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.:
• Possess or ability to obtain and maintain a valid Oklahoma administrator certificate required and teaching certificate in Special Education preferred
• In depth knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
• Proficiency in using data to drive decisions and program improvements
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
