We are looking for an experienced Jira Architect to lead the migration of data and configurations from one Jira account to another. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Jira system architecture and migration strategies, with a strong understanding of cross-account data transfer, reconciliation, and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Migration Strategy: Develop a detailed migration plan for transferring Jira projects, issues, workflows, permissions, and attachments between accounts.
- Data Integrity: Ensure complete data transfer without loss or corruption, including user mapping and custom field reconciliation.
- Configuration Alignment: Audit and align workflows, permissions, and project settings between source and target accounts.
- Platform Integration: Coordinate integration of the target Jira account with other tools (e.g., Jira Service Management, CI/CD tools).
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues, such as compatibility and permissions conflicts.
- Documentation: Create detailed documentation outlining migration processes, configurations, and resolution steps.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Jira Cloud and on-premise architecture.
- Experience with data migration tools, such as Atlassian's Jira Cloud Migration Assistant.
- Knowledge of Jira REST APIs for custom data transfer.
- Expertise in reconciling configurations between accounts.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in handling migrations involving external Atlassian tools (e.g., Confluence).
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and enterprise platform governance.
- Ability to create detailed training materials for end-users post-migration.
