Description

Job Summary: Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents advanced software systems or applications programs. Solves complex technical problems. Possesses knowledge of relevant development environments and protocols.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, code, test, debug, and thoroughly document advanced software systems or application programs.
  • Solve complex technical problems through in-depth analysis and innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address intricate project requirements.
  • Participate actively in code reviews, offering valuable insights and constructive feedback.
  • Promptly troubleshoot and resolve intricate software-related issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and established development methodologies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and techniques.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a cutting-edge approach.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience in software development, computer engineering, or related position. Requires development experience in C# and the .NET platform. Additional experience in deployment of Azure Cloud functions and services is preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with others.
  • Strong technical computer programming and trouble-shooting skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.

Work Environment:

  • Work requires frequent exposure to manufacturing facilities with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
  • Ability to sit comfortably for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability for occasional travel as the job may require visiting customers and project sites.
