Summary: This role will manage GoodLeap’s social media personality and presence across all relevant platforms, will assist in building brand awareness and amplify our work by driving engagement with target audiences. This role will require a deep understanding of social media trends and platforms, with the ability to concept, plan, and implement effective strategies across owned, paid, and earned channels. GoodLeap’s Social Media Manager will work closely with our communications, marketing, and creative teams to implement social media campaigns that resonate with our stakeholders and motivate the broader market. Will need to have a passion for storytelling and community building, with a desire to help accelerate the sustainability revolution. This role will also help support the social channels of other entities within the GoodLeap ecosystem, including our non‐profit GivePower.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute tactics to grow GoodLeap’s social media presence across platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.), including editorial calendar planning, implementation, copy writing, and reporting.
  • Develop social media content strategies to reach various business objectives and demonstrate sector thought leadership. Build organic and paid social media marketing campaigns to assist in the amplification of messages with each of the company’s key audience segments.
  • Set measurable goals for social content and cross‐channel programs; work with others on the marketing team to determine the proper KPIs and tools necessary to measure. Collaborate internally with PR and product marketing teams to build holistic social media programming.
  • Analyze data, write concise metrics recaps and report on the results to the marketing team and management. Manage online reputation.
  • Help manage social channels for related GoodLeap entities, including the nonprofit GivePower.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years' experience in social media, content, or editorial field
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Prior experience in building and executing social media from the ground up
  • Creative; with the ability to develop a high volume of new content ideas and modify graphics in collaboration with design teams
  • Analytical; has a keen understanding of social media KPIs by post type and platform, how to track to business objectives and how to analyze data to craft narratives and reports
  • Highly organized; ability to work on many projects with moving timelines
  • Proven track record for developing original content programs
  • A solid understanding of third‐party social media/influencer tracking tools
  • Ability to work with a team of individuals to meet organizational goals
  • Must be a self‐starter with a drive to produce results and impact, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing environments
Compensation: $100,000 per year
