About the role

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will act as both the glue and the grease between our Product Management and Engineering teams. You will manage the lifecycle and execution of some of our largest and most critical initiatives across multiple teams. You will facilitate cross-team collaboration, cross-functional communication, and engineering efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support multiple engineering teams that drive full stack development of tools, systems, and applications.
  • Collaborate across team and organizational boundaries including acting as a liaison for engineering with partners in Product Management, Design, UX Research, Marketing, and Partnerships.
  • Develop detailed technical project plans and drive the execution until completion.
  • Maintain and report on project status, identify risks and gaps, and seek opportunities to optimize timely delivery of projects
  • Assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, balance business needs versus technical constraints and refine scope to deliver the best product possible on schedule
  • Engage leadership effectively when needed and find a path forward in difficult situations
  • Make trade-offs between short-term needs vs. long-term needs
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $145,500.00 - $232,500.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • 5+ years of experience in software program management
  • Familiarity with current web development technologies, distributed architecture, and agile development methodology. Mobile experience is a plus.
  • Ability to proactively identify dependencies/risks and work with your engineering counterparts to mitigate these
  • Comfortable interacting with a diverse set of technical and non-technical team members
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize tasks
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
