What you’ll do:

  • Vision and Strategy Development: Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for integrating Shopify and other ecommerce platforms, aligning with Pinterest’s broader business goals and leveraging new demand generation opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner closely with engineering, data science, product marketing, and operations teams to identify growth opportunities from new and existing Shopify advertisers and drive seamless execution of ecommerce integration initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Lead partnership discussions with Shopify, Woocommerce, and new potential international ecommerce partners, ensuring projects meet strategic and operational objectives.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously assess ad performance for Shopify advertisers, conducting in-depth analyses to maximize revenue and informing strategic decision-making with detailed insights.
  • Internal and External Representation: Serve as Pinterest's representative in external meetings with partners and cross-functional teams, articulating strategy, metrics, and priorities clearly through written and verbal communication.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven Product Management Expertise: Extensive experience as a product manager within high-growth digital advertising and ecommerce environments, ideally with a background in platforms like Shopify.
  • Strategic and Technical Insight: Strong technical aptitude and strategic vision for ecommerce technologies, with the ability to influence technical teams across design, front-end, and back-end services.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Demonstrated ability to use qualitative and quantitative insights to shape high-level strategy and drive informed tactical decisions.
  • Excellence in Communication: Clear, effective communication skills capable of distilling complex topics for diverse audiences and building alignment across teams and leadership levels.
  • Adaptability in Ambiguity: Strong leadership abilities to drive initiatives within ambiguous settings, effectively aligning functions, teams, and organizations.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to establish trusted relationships across various internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration towards achieving common goals.
