We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Performance Marketing Manager to join our team and drive growth through paid app install campaigns.

As a Performance Marketing Manager on the Performance Marketing Team, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing paid app campaigns to drive installs and re-engagement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our campaigns are aligned with business goals and deliver measurable results.

What you'll do:

  • Setup, Run & Optimize Campaigns: Develop and manage paid app install campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads. Optimize campaigns to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost per install (CPI), return on ad spend (ROAS), and user acquisition targets.
  • Crunch the Data: Set up daily reporting and share-outs to bring peers and team leadership along on the journey. Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with our marketing analytics and business analytics teams to measure the LTV of our app programs and ensure our programs are ROAS positive. Work with the analytics team to develop and maintain dashboards for tracking campaign performance.
  • Manage Vendors: Collaborate with our platform support teams and manage day-to-day interactions with any supporting agencies either on media buying or performance creative generation.
  • Drive Creative Strategy: Collaborate with the creative team to design compelling ad creatives that drive engagement and conversions. Lead Yelp’s efforts to find creative that resonate with consumers not just in restaurants but also in home services.

What it takes to succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, with a focus on paid app install campaigns.
  • Proven track record of managing successful campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Facebook, and Instagram. Deep knowledge of Google & GA4/Firebase required, including the majority of:
    • You should know what IDFA, W2AC, AAP, ATT, ODM, ACi, and ACe stand for and why they matter.
    • Be an expert in app measurement and attribution across both Adjust and SKAdNetwork
    • Experience running both install and engagement campaigns
    • Experience optimizing to downstream engagement events
    • Experience with deep linking and deferred deep linking
    • Experience with Audience Signals and building custom GA4 Audience as well as audience triggers (aka “Smart Events”)
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making, including sophisticated knowledge of Excel. You should be comfortable pivoting and performing v-lookups and be prepared to do so in shared forums.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Compensation range for this position is $106,000 - $198,000 annually. You may also be offered a bonus and benefits.
