BD at Coinbase accelerates strategic product priorities and delivers impact via partnerships.
You will help drive Business Development for strategic corporate partnerships and stablecoins.The corporate partnerships team is responsible for managing enterprise-wide relationships with select counterparties that are multi-faceted and highly strategic. These relationships often encompass multiple products and initiatives, the sumtotal of which is significant to Coinbase’s operations and P&L.
You will lead a team responsible for managing and monitoring relationships with strategic corporate partners and identifying and driving ways to expand those relationships, including but not limited to product integrations, distribution opportunities and other ways to co-build. Collaborating closely with product management, business development, legal, and executive leadership to develop analytics and provide insights to initiatives that drive revenue and expenses across partnership touch-points, as well as develop strategies and identify opportunities to grow via new initiatives.

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
- Be the business owner leading cross-functional partnership initiatives, working with Product, Marketing, Comms, Compliance, Legal
- Own development and execution of the GTM strategy and tactics that will support Corporate Partnerships
- Own all elements of the partnership life cycle: scoping of opportunities, identifying potential partners, framing of value, negotiating agreements and implementation and optimization
- Maintain and manage productive relationships with partners, resolving business, policy and technical issues.
- Manage and mentor a team responsible for deal execution, strategy formulation, and partner management.
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
- 10+ years of experience across strategic deal-oriented roles with global exposure. Examples include: business development, corporate development, new market expansion, go-to-market strategy and partnerships
- Experience in crypto with a longstanding passion for the space
- Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management, and organizational skills, including navigating complex organizational dynamics to deliver cross-team results
- Deep analytical, prioritization, and problem solving skills and proven experience using data to identify actionable insights resulting in better product outcomes
- Proven ability to mentor and motivate high-performing global teams
- Entrepreneurial mindset and experience succeeding in fast-paced environments (e.g. you can run through walls)
- Track record managing diverse international ecosystem growth while balancing customer needs
- Exceptional leadership skills with a history of building and leading high-performing teams
