ServiceTitan is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and hands-on Senior Manager, Billing Systems to join our Business Technology team. As part of one of the fastest-growing tech startups in Southern California, this individual will play a pivotal role in designing, delivering, and supporting high-quality IT solutions for our billing systems. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise in Salesforce Billing and a proven track record of leading team to deliver robust solutions in a collaborative, agile environment.
What You'll Do:
Strategic Leadership & Team Management
Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce Billing developers and administrators to deliver high-quality solutions.
Drive the development and maintenance of scalable SaaS billing solutions leveraging Salesforce Billing, Salesforce CRM, Workday ERP, and Product Provisioning systems.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration within the team.
Solution Design & Delivery
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, designing effective solutions to enhance billing processes and systems.
Own the project lifecycle—from requirements gathering and solution design to development, testing, and deployment—using Scrum and agile methodologies.
Develop and implement robust monitoring systems to ensure billing accuracy and reliability across the organization.
Operational Excellence
Ensure accurate and up-to-date Salesforce billing data, enabling efficient and reliable billing operations.
Partner with finance, business operations, and analytics teams to optimize billing workflows and align with period close processes.
Monitor and troubleshoot billing processes, ensuring issues are identified and resolved promptly.
Documentation & Training
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, technical requirements, and user manuals.
Provide training and support to end-users, empowering teams to effectively use billing system functionalities.
Continuous Improvement
Stay current with Salesforce technologies, trends, and best practices, incorporating them into ServiceTitan’s billing strategies.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend innovative solutions to meet evolving business needs.
What You'll Bring:
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
10+ years of experience on the Salesforce platform, with a deep expertise on Salesforce Billing functionality.
Proven expertise in SaaS usage-based billing concepts, including pricing, product catalogs, invoicing, payments, and revenue recognition.
Technical Skills
Advanced knowledge of Salesforce Billing configuration and customization, including standard/custom objects, workflows, and integrations. CPQ knowledge is a plus.
Experience in managing end-to-end projects, from requirements gathering to production deployment, in an agile environment.
Proficiency in Salesforce security, data privacy, and governance standards.
Hands-on experience with Business Process Management tools (e.g., Jira).
Certifications (Preferred)
Salesforce Certified Billing Specialist.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or equivalent Scrum certifications.
Leadership & Soft Skills
Experience in leading teams and driving cross-functional collaboration.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language for diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Expertise
Experience in integration architecture involving Contracts, Billing, Payments, Tax, Financials, and Product Usage.
Familiarity with Workday ERP and related financial systems is a plus.

ServiceTitan is committed to fair and equitable compensation for all of our employees. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation. The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in the United States is between $154,000 USD - $220,000 USD. Compensation for candidates residing outside the United States will vary by location and the specific salary range will be discussed during the hiring process. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
