How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)
· Lead and inspire the event team to deliver exceptional experiences overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution.
· Create innovative event concepts and themes and design engaging experiences.
· Manage event budgets and resources effectively and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
· Oversee event logistics, from venue selection to on-site management and monitor event progress and ensure adherence to timelines.
· Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and collaborate with vendors and suppliers to deliver high-quality services.
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event execution.
What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)
- 5 + years of relevant event management experience in a global environment
- Demonstrated innovation in conference management and implementation.
- Experience preparing and managing budgets, financial plans, and related assumptions.
- Adept at contract negotiation with thorough knowledge of legal issues, contract language in the hospitality industry.
- Ability to advise, influence and lead diverse audiences.
- Proven project management skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to track multiple initiatives with different stakeholders, timelines, scale, and scope.
- Requires extensive travel (25% on average) and non-traditional hours.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelors preferred
