Key Responsibilities:
Project Management – Responsible for the oversight of high-priority programs/projects which often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration. Performs very complex research and analysis in support of programs/projects.
Data Management/Analytics – Responsible for the collection, aggregation, and interpretation of data through analysis and provide insights to leadership for use in making informed business decisions. Deliver analytical solutions for the business, creating compelling explanations and plans to drive adoption in the business
Risk Management – Responsible for the implementation or enhancement of controls within RIS Operations and Service to mitigate applicable risks. Identifying trends and work with the leadership team to analyze and apply corrective action.
Regulatory Reporting - Assist in the development and implementation of regulatory reporting tools, report preparation, and corresponding controls processes if required.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
· 4-year college degree preferred or equivalent experience
· 5+ years related experience
· Extensive planning, tactical, strategic, analytical thinking, business acumen and project management skills.
· Strong communication skills including presentations.
· Advanced Excel skills including macros, VLOOKUP, formula accuracy
· Ability to draw meaningful and actionable conclusions from datasets (i.e., data visualization, translate data into insights)
· Problem solving, critical and analytical thinking
· Strong attention to detail (ability to find a "needle in a haystack")
· Questions the norm and “the way things are”
· Prioritization and capability of handling multiple projects and requests/tasks
Preferred:
Knowledge of MetLife Organizational structure, products, enterprise relationships, lines of business, corporate
functions, and interdependencies.
