Senior Backend Rust Engineer - LATAM

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Backend Rust Developer. The ideal candidate should have experience strarting projects from scratch, problem solving, architecture related suggestions and decisions, etc. The candidate must possess a deep understanding of blockchain technology, smart contract development, and decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystems.
The impact you'll make:
- Immerse yourself in blockchain technology, cryptocurrency for enterprises and investors, our regulation-first approach, and more!
- Design and implement high-quality software solutions from concept through to launch - taking ownership of design, coding, and testing of key proprietary software components.
- Apply engineering best practices including unit and integration testing, source code version control, agile planning/estimation
- Resolve ambiguity, analyzing complex requirements and breaking down features and initiatives into tactical tasks
- Navigate the trade-offs among MVP vs Enterprise-Grade, Time-to-market, and in other relevant dimensions
- Search for the truth in product conceptualization and development, ensuring designs and implementations are fully aligned with the company mission and product goals
- Work with a modern tech stack including technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and Kafka
- Collaborate closely with other engineering teams, internal stakeholders, and clients around the world.
- Take ownership of technical domains in a company that is growing in size and scope

What you'll bring to us:
- +6 years of experience working in the industry as a Backend Engineer.
- 2+ years of experience in backend development & API design in the Rust programming language.
- Experience in developing a product from early stage to production is a must.
- Fluency in English & communicative personality.
- Deep understanding of blockchain infrastructure and related technologies.
- 4+ years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining distributed systems.
- 1+ years of experience designing and maintaining relational databases.
- Experience in a backend programming language, such as Java, .NET, Node.js.
- Experience with asynchronous web frameworks (Tokio, Axum, Tonic).
- Experience with TypeScript and GraphQL.
