Position Information Position Title Senior Administrative Coordinator Job Description The Senior Administrative Coordinator works independently with minimal supervision and requires complex administrative skills.

Characteristic Duties:

  • Oversee external faculty award nominations and submissions
  • Faculty Research Proposal Assistance
    • Specifically large-scale proposals (organization, collection of materials, proofreading, etc.)
  • College & Departmental Advisory Boards
    • Interface
    • Meeting arrangements
  • Create and Distribute Itineraries for guest lecturers, visitors, and candidates
  • Attend professional conferences to assist faculty and promote the college, as well as participate in student recruitment events.
  • General Office Duties (college newsletter, college & department web sites, update, obtain and maintain swag, building(s) signage, professional correspondence from the college (invitations, greeting cards), space & building inventories and beautification (entrance, signage, awards, recognition, plaques, etc.)
  • Interface with Advancement and Stewardship
    • Maintain Benefactor Information
    • Collaborate for college functions (ballgames, Honors & Awards, Outstanding Researcher Awards, Hulings Lectures, Hall of Fame, back to school & homecoming events, finals refreshments and graduation representation)
    • Data Collection & Presentation Development (in collaboration with Institutional Research) for rankings, faculty committee elections, etc.
    • Other Duties as assigned
Required Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years progressively responsible experience
Preferred Qualifications PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous experience in a higher education environment
