PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTIONS
As a Hybrid Technical Architect and Administrator, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our Salesforce capabilities as part of our integrated strategies group. In this high-impact role, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and technical best practices. By leveraging your deep technical expertise and architectural skills, you will drive efficiency and innovation across our ecosystem, with a core focus on Salesforce.
You will be a collaborative partner, adept at integrating Salesforce with other systems, providing advanced troubleshooting, and optimizing our in-house capabilities. Additionally, while Salesforce will be your primary focus, you will also apply your technical architecture skills to other systems as needed. Your ability to work effectively with stakeholders and communicate complex technical solutions clearly will enhance our overall Salesforce proficiency and drive impactful results within our organization. Leading by example, you will elevate team capabilities through hands-on execution, set a standard of excellence, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Architecture, Strategy, and Solution Development:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on Salesforce best practices, architecture, and design, including ongoing new feature evaluation.
- Design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements and align with overall business strategy.
- Develop and deploy custom Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Components.
- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other systems, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and governance policies.
- Address complex technical challenges, providing advanced troubleshooting and leading efforts to resolve system outages and performance issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translating them into technical solutions and maintaining architecture documentation.
- Partner effectively with external vendors as necessary, while transferring capabilities in-house, and an emphasis on net cost reduction efforts.
Administration and Operations:
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to elevate their Salesforce administration skills and capabilities, fostering a self-sufficient environment.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, roles, and profiles, and provide end-user support and training.
- Customize Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and page layouts to optimize user experience.
- Import, update, and maintain clean and accurate data within Salesforce, performing routine maintenance tasks such as system backups and data integrity checks.
- Collaborate with internal Business Analysts and Business Architects to create and manage reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user issues, ensuring smooth and efficient system operation.
KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce administration and architecture with extensive knowledge of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is highly preferred, along with additional certifications or progress towards them, and a strong commitment to continually enhancing Salesforce expertise.
- Experience with data management tools like Data Loader and integration tools like Mulesoft or similar.
Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and integrations.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, including workflows, validation rules, and custom objects.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders, gather requirements, and provide training.
- Proven leadership and mentorship abilities to guide technical teams and projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest Salesforce trends and technologies.
Physical Requirements:
- Position continually requires the ability to talk and hear both in person and over the phone, visual acuity; ability to operate equipment, read, and use a keyboard
- Position frequently requires the ability to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods of time
- Position requires the ability to travel occasionally but not regularly
Salary:
- Anticipated salary range between $101,000 - $141,000.
Hours & Location:
- This is not a fully remote position as we work in a hybrid office environment. In-Office and hybrid/flexible schedules are based on business need, staff readiness, and approved by one's supervisor.
- You must live in or be able to relocate to Tulsa, OK or the surrounding area.
- This is a full-time position with an expectation of working 40 hours per week.
- The typical hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Ability to occasionally work hours outside of 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. for events.
