As Sr. Sales Compensation Analyst, you will be joining the Commissions team in supporting a high-growth, fast-paced Sales Finance function. In this role, you will be driving the design, enablement, and distribution of the company’s global sales compensation plans, and supporting in the calculation and systems areas as needed. You will partner with Sales, Sales Leadership, Sales Operations, Legal, HR in the course of this work.

What you'll do

  • Partner closely with the Sr. Manager of Commissions and VP of Sales Ops to develop innovative, best-in-class sales compensation plans, SPIFF programs and policies to motivate sales reps worldwide
  • Liaise with sales leaders to ensure compensation plans and policies are effectively aligned with company strategies and go-to-market objectives
  • Manage the design and distribution of compensation letters and plan documents, partnering with legal, HR, and sales operations to craft a smooth and effective business process in this area
  • Provide training and enablement material to sales management to promote understanding and motivation of sales compensation plans
  • Maintain internal documentation on compensation plans, policies and compensation-related FAQs
  • Be a trusted advisor and point of contact across Airtable with cross-functional partners on sales compensation plan design & policy details
  • Provide system requirements to business technology and internal team members to ensure plan designs and calculations are built to specifications
  • Assist with systems testing and payout calculations as necessary
  • Lead and drive adjacent projects in the sales compensation design and systems areas as appropriate

Who you are

  • 4+ years of work experience (with at least 2 years of Enterprise Software industry in a Sales Compensation role experience preferred)
  • You have an aptitude for problem-solving, providing an empathetic perspective, and educating others
  • You have an enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality and excel collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • You work well under pressure, with a high degree of adaptability and flexibility in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
  • You have a fierce attention to detail, ensuring numbers are accurate & delivered on time to key partners
  • You have the ability to identify areas of improvement and propose necessary changes
  • You are comfortable communicating with Executive level decision makers
  • You have strong financial modeling skills in Microsoft Excel
  • You have experience with sales incentive software (CaptivateIQ preferred)
  • You have experience with Salesforce.com

Compensation awarded to successful candidates will vary based on their work location, relevant skills and experience. The base salary range for this role is $120,300 - $183,800 for work locations in San Francisco, Mountain View, Seattle, NYC and LA. Our total compensation package also includes the opportunity to receive benefits, restricted stock units, and may include incentive compensation.
