About the role

Join Blackbaud’s Corporate Impact Sales team, comprised of EVERFI (the leading “Impact-as-a Service” digital e-learning company). The Mid-Market Prospect Account Executive (PAE) is responsible for direct client contact with new prospects to achieve assigned revenue quota. This includes educating institutional leaders about EVERFI solutions and product offerings as well as providing clear and compelling proposals centered on how to use the Corporate Impact product platforms to drive value in the organizations. The AE is directly responsible for meeting revenue goals associated with a specific product set.

The AE is directly responsible for developing a plan and executing against weekly, monthly, and quarterly engagement opportunities to generate pipeline, and ultimately delivering against monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.

You will be responsible for selling EVERFI financial education that helps companies “bridge the learning gap” for K-12 and adult learners in their communities.

What you'll do

  • Develop sales plans to effectively and efficiently prospect accounts within assigned territory

  • Master the EVERFI solutions and competitive differentiation in specific business line

  • Meet and exceed new sales goals in an assigned territory

  • Independently manage entire pipeline and ensure all revenue-process activities are performed to meet pipeline objectives

  • Engage prospects in consultative, problem first discussions and align their needs with EVERFI solutions

  • Manage and prioritize all aspects of territory management in named accounts for quota attainment

  • Accurately forecast pipeline for in month and in quarter quota attainment

  • Independently request support from EVERFIs leadership team and subject matter experts as needed to support sales and partnership opportunities

  • Continuously prospect and ensure that new prospects are being added to the pipeline

  • Identify new sales opportunities through networking to help attain goals/quota

  • Provide professional and helpful transitions to Account Management team to ensure successful partnerships

  • Manage prospects needs analysis and identify accurate proposal options including pricing

  • Partner with Sales Development Representatives to prospect and identify strong opportunities in assigned territory and conduct proactive outreach

  • Maintain knowledge on new solutions and updated value propositions

  • Continually keep opportunities and account records up to date in our Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis

  • Create compelling outreach messaging to engage prospects

  • Leverage all enablement tools to work efficiently and effectively

  • Maintain up to date notes and records in CRM

  • Work collaboratively with all functional departments to deliver an exceptional customer experience

What you'll bring

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in SaaS sales roles, including 2 years of selling experience in Sales, Customer Success or a client facing role; 4 years preferred

  • Experience navigating $30-50K+ ACV (Average Contract Value) deals

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals

  • Consultative selling skills

  • Ability to lead complex sales process at the C-level

  • Strong written and oral presentations skills

  • Ability to conduct proactive outreach to assigned territory

  • Exceptionally detail-oriented

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to travel 25%

The starting base salary and annual proposed commission is $78,700.00 to $107,200.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, sales quota, Company finances, and other operational considerations.
