Zillow is on a mission to transform the home buying and selling process. The Yield Management Team is dedicated to optimizing revenue and profitability across various business lines by employing strategies that understand, anticipate, and influence supply and demand. Our team plays a crucial role in bringing the Zillow Premier Agent programs and products to life, working closely with cross-functional partners to drive outcomes for consumers, agent partners, and Zillow Group. We equip front-line teams with the necessary tools, data, and insights, establish operational systems and processes for execution, and develop solutions in collaboration with cross-functional partners.

About the role

We are looking for a thoughtful and results-oriented problem solver who will partner closely with sales, ops, analytics, product and more, to own and deliver initiatives that are critical to driving and scaling our business. This is a role for someone who searches for answers with dedicated curiosity, can distill complicated information into easy to understand insights, and who doesn’t mind rolling up their sleeves in the process.

In this role, you will:

  • Be the market specialist: Partner with sales leaders and business intelligence teams to have a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, top performing partners, and opportunities to expand or grow the business.

  • Drive decisions with data: Monitor and report on program performance and work with various stakeholders to manage and drive performance.

  • Operate with excellence: Execute revenue optimization processes in an organized, consistent, and thoughtful manner to drive business results.

  • Communicate effectively: Be in constant communication with Sales, Partner Success, and Analytics partners to ensure everyone is working in sync toward our common goal.

  • Challenge the status quo: Find opportunities to improve process inefficiencies and propose, socialize, and implement improvements with the appropriate stakeholders.

This role has been categorized as a Field position. “Field” employees perform the majority of their work in a specified geographic location set by their management team. Employees are expected to live within a reasonable commuting distance to their region and/or service area. ZG has not defined a reasonable distance and expects employees will use judgment in determining this for themselves and understand the implications regarding time commitment and cost of daily commute.In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $88,200.00 - $140,800.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • 3+ years of experience in consulting, sales operations, program management, business unit management or analytics

  • Strong Excel skills required, proficiency with SQL and Tableau a plus.

  • Experience partnering with sales professionals in an operational or analytical capacity.

  • Able to identify, develop, and implement solutions to complex problems from a strategic, operational and customer perspective.

  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; able to pose complex strategic decisions for business leaders with clarity and precision

  • You have a track record of “owning it” – there is no problem too large, no solution too lofty to get the job done.
