Retail Thrift Store Backroom Production Supervisor
Summary:
The Production Supervisor will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer satisfaction and revenue growth objectives. The Production Supervisor will direct the pricing of merchandise for our customers and build customer loyalty. The Production Supervisor is an ambassador for Green Country Habitat for Humanity and often makes a first impression of the organization to donors and customers, therefore a positive attitude is necessary.
Essential Functions:
- Manages sorting, pricing, and sales floor placement of all store goods.
- Assists in all departments including Sales Floor (placing clothing on rack; Fitting Rooms (letting customers into fitting rooms); Customer Service; Color Coordinating clothing on racks, removal of non-selling items from racks for recycling.
- Manages pricing of clothing, shoes, and home goods.
- Directs the processing of donated inventory quickly and efficiently.
- Conduct themselves professionally. Has a clean and neat appearance and positive attitude.
- Supervises activities on the main sales floor when required, providing back-up when necessary.
- Maintains store and facility; clean shelves, bathrooms, and retail displays as well as restock merchandise.
- Provides support to management team and completes other duties as assigned.
- Ensures policies and procedures are closely followed.
- Serves as an Ambassador for Green Country Habitat for Humanity and the Store.
- Meets productivity goals in each department to ensure the Sales Floor is adequately restocked on a daily basis.
- Loads items at the work site in a safe and courteous fashion.
- Assists in unloading truck following dock guidelines.
- Operates powerlift equipment and various power tools.

Position RequirementsSkills / Abilities:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline orientated environment
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule including Saturday and Sunday required.
- Detail oriented.
Experience / Education:
- High School or GED equivalent.
- Retail production experience preferred.
