
Quick Start Representative
Summary
Performs a variety of preparation of equipment for shipping to provide the highest level of customer service possible. Provide information of the status of all jobs that have been completed and ready to be shipped. Job is completed with moderate supervision.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties
- Follow information from the drawings provided by the QSR personnel.
- Document by taking photos and labeling parts.
- Assemble wood boxes for mechanical parts as needed.
- Assisting with re-assembly of the units in the field if required
- Type correspondence/ answer e-mails.
- Prep units for shipping and preparation of ship loose equipment.
- Keep all disassemble parts on track.
- Identify and report missing parts to designated function.
- Comply with HSSE guidelines.
- Data entry on parts numbers and making documentation for the customer.
- Ability to read General Arrangements and P&ID drawings.
- Certified to driving forklift and man lifts.
- Knowledge of unit preservation in storage
- Requires employee to frequently type and use a computer and other office equipment, such as copier, printer, calendar, telephones, etc.
- Requires operation of heavy equipment such as forklift, scissor lift on a constant frequency
- Participates in group discussions and meetings.
- Maintains equipment and clean work areas.
- Participates in continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 1-3 years working in a manufacturing environment.
- Some travel may be required.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must meet all OSHA regulations.
- Must have driver’s license and good motor vehicle record.
- Must be able to pass company driving test.
- Must be forklift certified.
- Experience in gas and oil field.
- Be familiar with mechanical parts.
- Carpentry and major equipment labor experience is preferred.
- Assembly skills
- Good Communication skills and attention to detail
- Multitask and Prioritize work.
- General computer skills
- Use ERP System (SAP)
Physical Requirements
- Requires employee to stand for at least 90% of the time.
- Requires employee to sit for at least 10% of the time.
- Requires employee to frequently inspect equipment, climb stairs or ladders and must be able to maintain balance on stairs or ladders without assistance.
- Ability to work from heights above 4ft.
- Must be able to communicate and respond to coworkers, vendors, suppliers, and emergency cues/alarms, in person and on the telephone, including use of mobile devices.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Requires work in outdoor conditions, including all weather conditions & unairconditioned facility.
- Requires work on loud environment.
- Requires moving and maintaining self in different positions, stoop, kneel, crouch to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
- Must wear all required PPE, including fire-retardant clothing, helmets, face shields, hearing protection, safety goggles, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, gloves, fall protection as applicable.
- Position requires travel 10% of the time.
