Overview

The QMS Specialist will manage the TDW compliant quality system to meet industry and company standards to ensure continual conformity and certification company wide. This role will drive partnership with stakeholders and team members to meet regulatory, industry, and internal standards in Quality.

Key Responsibilities

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide QMS expertise and organization across TDW
  • Partner with team members and other internal stakeholders to identify requirements and define and document processes as required to meet regulatory, industry, and internal standards
  • Oversee Global Quality document framework and control system
  • Educate and align functions to Global standards and company requirements
  • Monitor the QMS to ensure all policies, procedures and processes are aligned to TDW defined requirements
  • Monitor the QMS to maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate Quality Global KPI systems and applications to ensure compliance to corporate requirements
  • Serve as administrator of Global Quality business applications
  • Administer Global Quality skills and development program
  • Coordinate Global Quality communications and maintain system of record
  • Maintain Quality certifications and audit records within TDW
  • Serve as a working team leader to develop and maintain compliance with TDW defined requirements
  • Oversee team communication forums (i.e. Global Quality TEAMs and SharePoint)
  • Develop team members for effective control and maintenance of the Global QMS
  • Support Quality Team members with site and business QMS management as needed
  • Develop, implement, and monitor procedures to ensure TDW QMS meets applicable
  • Partner with QHSE COE leadership for alignment of processes to promote QHSE strategy
  • internal, regulatory, and customer requirements
  • Foster strong relationships with internal TDW functions to support customer requirements and needs
  • Partner with global business leadership to align the organization with the requirements of the organization

Experience and Knowledge

  • Bachelor of Science (4-year) degree from a regionally accredited college, or university
  • Minimum five (5) years working experience in Quality disciplines
  • Experience developing and managing a QMS in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in ISO 9001 standards and working knowledge of API, and ATEX standards preferred
  • Understanding of Quality as a function, analytics, and problem-solving methods and tools (including, but not limited to: Six-Sigma, Lean, statistics, DOE, auditing, correction/preventive action, continuous improvement);
  • Strong consideration will be given to candidates who possess: ASQ CQE (Certified Quality Engineering) certification (US) and/or Six-Sigma Green Belt or Six-Sigma Black Belt training / certification
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of IT applications and software solutions
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Proficient in written and spoken English to allow for effective interaction with global personnel
  • Travel <25%
