Mid-Continent Group, a subsidiary of Great American, based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, specializes in commercial casualty coverages with an emphasis on general liability for the construction, energy and difficult-to-place business in other industries. Mid-Continent Group provides a broad selection of General Liability, Commercial Auto, Inland Marine, and Umbrella products.

Mid-Continent Group is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst/Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join their IT team. This individual will work a hybrid schedule from downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This Quality Assurance Analyst/Senior Quality Assurance Analyst will be working both independently and as part of a team performing software development testing. This position will be interacting with developers, business analysts, and the user community.

  • Perform moderately complex test planning, test case/procedure development, test management functions and tasks.
  • Perform moderately complex analysis of user story requirements, acceptance criteria, test coverage and impact of proposed requirements changes.
  • Perform work under moderate supervision to ensure the following:
    • Create and execute various testing documentation (including plans, conditions, and test results) based on user story requirements, and user acceptance criteria.
    • Write and maintain test automation.
    • Test software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects and/or system performance including scalability and load testing.
    • Perform regression testing, both manual and automated.
    • Ensure adequate product testing, in accordance with established standards and requirements, prior to implementation.
    • Maintain Test cases and/or performance test results.
    • Devise improvements to current procedures and develop models of possible future configurations.

Job Requirements:

  • Generally, 6+ years of related experience.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience with Azure Dev Ops, Leapwork, Microsoft Test Manager, SQL Query, and IBMi is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile, Test Driven Development, and Test Automation methodologies is a plus.
  • Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) and/or Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE) certifications are a plus.
