Job Description

The Purchasing and Contracts Analyst is primarily responsible for assisting in all functions of the Enterprise Purchasing department and managing the day-to-day relationship with BOK Financial and print vendor and related duties. This position acts as a backup to the Enterprise Purchasing manager in addition to assisting Contracts Managers with data administration activities within the organization’s Contracts Database.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will manage the day-to-day relationship with the BOK Financial print vendor and related duties.
  • You will create and maintain enterprise print usage reports in PowerBI to monitor and analyze print activity.
  • You will identify and address abnormal print activity, seeking opportunities to minimize print and improve processes.
  • You will obtain quotes and make purchase recommendations for WFH printers, multi-function devices, and niche banking equipment.
  • You will be responsible for purchasing new fleet vehicles and maintaining all vehicle fleet records.
  • You will assist with receiving orders, processing invoices, and supporting the Asset Management Team with Enterprise Print costs and Purchase Orders.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of an Associate’s Degree in Business, Liberal Arts, or a related field and 1-3 years of practical experience or 5-7 years of equivalent experience.

  • Thorough knowledge of industry print practices
  • Working knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures with the ability to efficiently manage multiple concurrent assignments with the ability to meet service level agreements and critical deadlines
  • Working knowledge of purchasing functions (requisitions, purchase orders, invoicing, receipts, procure to pay)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including interpersonal skills
  • Moderate PC and Microsoft Office skills along with a working knowledge of Power BI is required
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills. Problem solving and conceptual skills including the ability to manage workload through inventive thought processes
  • Working knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Working knowledge of IT technologies, business processes and practices that includes previous experience in an IT environment
  • Ability to organize workflow and process improvement to ensure numerous critical deadlines are met daily
